DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 and Wednesday – February 14, 2024 for the OSM Training Seminar. The event will be held in person at the Imdea Networks Institute ( https://networks.imdea.org/es/ ), specifically at the Imdea Networks Auditorium.\n\n\n\nThe assistance to the event is free.\n\n\n\nINSTRUCTOR: Gerardo García de Blas\n\n\n\nThe session will be conducted by instructor Gerardo García. Gerardo is a Technology Expert at Telefónica, currently working within Telefónica’s Global CTIO Unit in the Cloud & Infrastructure Area, where he is involved on different topics related to muti-cloud tools and technologies, Kubernetes, GitOps, NFV, OSM, Network Function testing on top of public and private clouds, orchestration and automation in the telco area.\n\n\n\nGerardo has been technically involved in the NFV ecosystem from its birth, contributing to the ETSI NFV ISG, with special dedication to data plane performance of Network Functions. In April 2016, with the foundation of OSM, he became one of the TSC members. As part of the OSM community, he has been actively contributing to the code and has led different key technical discussions such as the introduction of the micro-service architecture, the support of Kubernetes-based Network Functions and the connectors to public cloud platforms.
